If you follow me on Instagram then you know my entire blogging journey has started with the love of home decor and Rae Dunn. I went from being an obsessive Rae collector to now owning only a few staple pieces I use daily. Can I just tell you how liberating it felt to downsize my collection, and free up so much space?! I no longer go out and “hunt” for pieces anymore. Although a lot of that stems from growing out that phase, a good portion of that also comes from the amount of collectors there are now. It’s nearly impossible to keep up with collecting new pieces, and quite frankly too time consuming. It’s our madness!
Anyways, I figured I’d share with all of you how I like to keep my kitchen cabinets and pantry neat and tidy.
I love using reusable jars like these to keep pantry staple itms fresh and looking cohesive. Tossing original packaging really helps minimize visual clutter, and I mean who doesn’t love a pretty jar and label?!
I love using woven baskets in my cabinets to help contain a lot of the “loose” mess from products. These two baskets hold backup spices, cooking oils, sauces, coffee straws, and to-go coffee cups and lids. It’s amazing at what a simple basket like this can do to really give your cabinets that clean and minimal look.
Although we do put most of this Rae to use, we mainly use paper plates and napkins for day-to-day use. I know, I know, the extra waste isn’t ideal, but the thought of less dishes in the sink makes for a happier mama! Here I use another woven basket to hide and hold our paper plates and napkins. It really helps keeping all of those items together verses it just all spread out and all over the place.
How do you keep your cabinet/pantry organized?
